Pinger Painting

For the last two mornings James has found it necessary to build himself a "fort" while he has breakfast and watches his morning stories.  I asked him why and he said it is "to keep Judie Bug away".

So help me, this child gets away with too much.  But when he looks at me like this I am defenseless.  He uses his charm against me and he knows it.  This is not a good thing.
Today he asked if he could "pinger paint".
I'm always up for a new masterpiece.
He asked for some more paint and pointed to the yellow and said, "I need more mustard."

I finally heard from Dr. Pass (the specialist that we went to in Dallas) today.  She gave me her official second opinion.  Although it took a long time to get it, I am glad to have it.  She agreed with Dr. Regueira that it is indeed stage 4s (in his bone marrow) and suggested we repeat a bone marrow biopsy in September, December, and March.  She is sending her report and suggestions to Dr. R and we will see what he says about all of this.

As far as all the sickness we've had flying around this place...both James and Jude seem a tiny bit better today.  All of the labs finally came back and Jude's positive culture was just needle contamination from his skin...not bacteria in his blood.  Thank you Lord!  So we avoided the hospital.  I'm so thankful.
