Baby Feet

I didn't know what an obsession I had with baby feet until I had James . Now I have a whole new pair of baby feet to obsess over. So cute. We are so in love with this new little guy.

This Post Is Not About A Valuable Use Of Time

I feel inexplicably compelled to tell you about a new show I stumbled upon Sunday. It is called Bridalplasty and it is truly trashy reality television at it's very best...or worst. It is about a group of gals all competing for various plastic surgeries and a dream wedding. I was watching it while Brad was finishing up some work. I thought he was oblivious to my viewing choice but shockingly enough...he can multitask. He said, "This is so sad." And he meant it non-sarcastically unlike everything I say. And it really was sad. These girls are desperate to drastically change the way they look. Now I don't have anything against plastic surgery, but I feel bad for these girls and the decision they made, and will indubitably regret, to do it on national television. All of that by way of saying...I will not be missing a single episode. This is like watching a train wreck. I. Can't. Turn. Away. Speaking of vain. George went and got his hair did today. As muc

Grandkids

I had the great idea to get a picture made of all of the grandkids for Mom and Dad for Christmas. Unfortunately we ran out of time while everyone was here for Thanksgiving. So I decided to try and get one last minute. These are some pretty cute kids! (Well...Morgan and Madison are beautiful young ladies...the rest are cute kids).

Hide And Seek

Today James came over to play with James. I love how they look like they are really in a deep discussion about the cars. They are such cute little friends. Brad spends his time after work playing with James until he goes to bed. One of James' favorite games to play with is Daddy is a weird version of "hide and seek". James runs into the kitchen and stands there for a few seconds and then goes and looks for Brad. Brad jumps out and scares James. James laughs his head off then runs and does it all over again.

One More Thanksgiving

Yesterday we had Thanksgiving with Brad's family. James always loves being around Addi and Lauren! It was a lot of fun. We also celebrated Addi's 2nd birthday and Lauren's 1st birthday. Brad and his sis, Karin. I laid Jude down for a nap and looked in on him and saw sweet little Addi laying beside him talking softly to him. Precious. Uncle JT and James. No clue why his fingers are up his nose. Kissing cousins. Daddy and his boys. No nap time makes for some sleepy boys. After Thanksgiving with my in-laws we went back over to Mom and Dad's to hang out one last time before everyone left town. Morgan and Jude. Madison and Jude. Daddy, Carrie and Jude. This evening we were planning on going to Mom and Dad's to decorate the Christmas tree. However, that plan was sabotaged by James vomiting at their dinner table. That really puts a damper on the fun. However, Jude sure looked like a happy little Santa.

The Gag Reel

My family...well...mainly my sisters...are chronic photobombers. It's sad really. Such a desperate cry for attention. And so many pictures ruined. But every time we are all together there is much laughter...often to the point of tears. Maybe we are so happy because we have so much to be thankful for...my Dad's health, our family, a new baby.... This post is dedicated to the idiotic pictures that captured some of the best memories from Thanksgiving weekend... This is when Carrie and I had stolen Mom's phone and were texting inappropriate things to Christi and laughing like we were 12. This is Brad breathing his dragon breath on Carrie. This is what Dad was doing while we were acting like idiots. Mom...the rarest of all photobombers. Yeh...I don't know. Could he get any further away from me and still be sitting beside me? This was my sister doing this to my poor defenseless baby. Rude. Not sure what just happened but I'm thankful Morgan was protecting my child.

Scripture Wise

I am SO thrilled to announce the debut of my Dad's blog Scripture Wise . It is a blog devoted to the discussion of various scriptures. Feel free to stop by and leave your thoughts and comments regarding the current verse posted. My Dad is a faithful and wise man of God. I look forward to all of the rich insights he has to share from his many years of studying the Scriptures. Love you Daddy.

Family Fun

The family fun continued today. My Mom, sisters and I went to a movie...a Thanksgiving tradition for us. We all have so much fun together. The guys have fun too...shooting guns, watching football, and whatever else guys do. James is still attached to Brock. Literally. Me and my nephew Will...photo bombing courtesy of Christi and Jude. Brad and Jamesie. The whole family.

Giving Thanks

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I sure did. I have so much to be thankful for. First of all I am most thankful for my salvation and the Lord's forgiveness. I am thankful for my wonderful husband and precious boys. I am thankful for every member of my sweet family and the blessing of being all together today. Today was Uncle Andy's first time to meet Jude. They hit it off right away. Aunt Care Care and Jamesie. (She's a knockout, huh?) My beautiful nieces, Morgan and Madison with James and Jude. Aunt Care Care and Uncle Andy with James and Jude. While we were waiting for my other sister and her family to get into town, Carrie hijacked Mom's phone and texted Christi really snotty things...like the fact that I am Mom and Dad's favorite...or something like that. She got in big trouble...just like when we were little. Some things never change. She did NOT get a smiley face by her name today. Mom should have made her put her nose in the corner. Gosh...I
