Burp Cloths

My sweet sisters sent me these in the mail today...the burp cloths...I already had the baby. Aren't they beautiful!!!! I love them. I can't imagine letting any spit up touch these beautiful things! I don't know why my camera made the colors all weird, but here are some close-ups so you can see the embroidery. They are so pretty! I love the little crown! And this one is my favorite with the great big bow!

James & Jude

Jude is so funny when he sleeps. Sometimes his arms get stuck up in the air. Sometimes his legs get stuck. ~~~~~ Judging by his hair do...James had a good nap today. I asked James if he wanted to hold his bubba tonight. He jumped right in my lap to hold him. It lasted about 10 seconds and then he shoved Jude off his lap. We're still working on that brotherly love.

Kristi Kelly Designs

I grew up with Kristi...in fact, when we were younger, people thought we were twins because we look a lot alike. She would definitely be the crafty, creative, talented twin though. She makes beautiful baby things. When James was born she sent me a bib and wipe case and I absolutely love them! I ordered Jude a blanket and burp cloth and she sent me an adorable bib that I had been eying as a baby gift...she's so sweet! Here is the blanket...it is 35" x 35" and super cozy and soft. This is the backside. And see how snuggly it is!?!?! It snuggled Jude right to sleep. This is the bib Kristi gave me. I love it! Doesn't he look like such a big boy with a tie on! Here is the darling burp cloth! Something so beautiful shouldn't be called a burp cloth. Here is Kristi's card. In case you can't read it, here is the info: Kristi Kelly www.kristikelly.com info@kristikelly.com 469/767.5275 These are the perfect baby gifts and her prices are fab too! She

Jamesie Loves Nana

I've said it a million times, but James' favorite person in the whole wide world is his Nana. His face just lights up when he sees her. When she is around he won't go to anyone else. He won't have anything to do with me or Brad. Thank you Lord for our sweet Nana! ~~~~~ Today we got a present from Brad's cousin and it is so cute. I've never seen a baby gift like this before. The elephant has Jude's name and birthday on it's ears. She also sent a cute little lovey with his name and birthday. James took up immediately with the elephant. He LOVES it. He even took a nap with it. (We won't mention this to Puppy). Jude likes it really well also but he's being sweet and sharing with his big brother.

What A Month!

What a weekend! Well...let me back up...what a month! First of all, this was the first weekend of this month that we've not been at the hospital. The first weekend of September James was in the hospital, the second 2, it was me. But I am not sure that James ever really got entirely well. Last week he got really sick with a stomach bug. It lasted all week, poor little guy. So Friday we decided to take him to the doctor. Thankfully, Brad met me there, because right as he walked in I started having some major issues that I won't get into so as to spare those with delicate constitutions. But anyways...I told Brad to run and get our friend Lorraine and tell her it was an emergency...how fortunate am I that she is our pediatricians nurse and was right across the hall! Thank you Lord! That was truly a blessing and a provision. Brad went ahead and took James to see the doctor and my Mom came and got me and took me to my doctor. The wonderful news of the day was that both of

Mommy's Eye View

This is the sweet little face I look at for about 23 hours a day (it seems like). And look! He's already feeding himself! Little pig. I really couldn't resist....

My Little Loaf

When James was born my sister suggested that I take his picture next to a loaf of bread so I could remember how tiny he was. I regretted that I never did that. So I made sure to do it with Jude. My tiny little loaf.

D-Day and Bath Day

So for those I haven't already bored with this story...here is what went down Wednesday and Thursday. I had my 37 week appointment and had already been having contractions that morning so I was sure my doc was going to tell me to go ahead and go to the hospital. I was dilated to a 3 and 80% effaced and he told me to go home and call him if my contractions got to be 5 minutes apart for an hour otherwise he'd see me in a week. About 3:30-4:30 that afternoon, I timed my contractions and they were 5 minutes apart for an hour so I called him and went to the hospital. After being monitored for awhile he said he was going to send me home. The nurse checked me again before we left and I was dilated to a 4 so he decided to keep me. It was about 7:00 by this time. Around 9:30 that night my doctor came and broke my water. Ouch. A little after that I got an epidural that never worked. We found out later that there was a piece of iv just floating around in my bed not attached to anyt

Sunny Sunday

This morning James was curious about Jude being in his old bouncy seat. But he decided he deserved a kiss anyways. My sister Christi came over first this morning and we went outside with Jude so he could do some sunbathing. I love my sweet Jamesie! He is such a good boy! James loves his Aunt Christi. Mommy and Jude. Handsome James. I love my handsome hubby. I can't tell you all that he has done and what a huge blessing he has been to me since we've had Jude. He was a hero during the birth and has done so much to help me since then. He's the love of my life. Sweet little Jude says, "nite nite"!

A Wonderful Day!

This morning Jude got to do a little sunbathing to help out the jaundice situation. My sister, Christi, came in this morning from out of town and jumped right in bed with me and we stayed there with Jude for a long time. Heaven! My stunning sisters! What a blessing to have them both here! I love it. Jamesie is having a hard time sharing Nana...but he's working on it. What a face! My sweet nieces have been such a help! And James loves having them around! Jamesie combed my hair for me. What a sweet boy! We had everyone over tonight and it was such a blessing! Brad and I loved having all of our family there...a few were missing though. Mom, Carrie and Christi fixed a fabulous meal and we all sat around and talked, laughed and looked at Jude. Grandma and Jude. Grandpa, Aunt Carrie, and Jude. I love this picture of Jude with his little piggies sticking out.
