This move might kill us. We have moved several times and it has never been as difficult as this move has. It's ok though. It will all be worth it in the end. I keep telling myself that. Mom and Dad kept the kids some more for us. Otherwise, we would be even further behind than we already are. They brought them home to us yesterday afternoon. I was more than ready to see them.
The movers came yesterday to move all the rest of the big heavy stuff that we didn't want to move ourselves. They did a horrible job and took forever. But last night was our first night to sleep in our new house and we loved it. It was so good to all be under the same roof. It was a beautiful evening and we sat outside and enjoyed our new backyard.
Is it a rabbit or a dog? It's an Isabella.
She loves her new backyard too.
The other day Penny and Zintha came over to help me unpack and organize. While Penny and I worked, James and (his future wife) Zintha built a house with the boxes. Actually, Zintha built the house while James painted the inside of it with watercolors. It turned out lovely!
Then they had a tea party. These two do something to my heart. James loves Z so much and they are so adorable together.
Brad has been picking up some pointers from our contractor, Danny. He and his wife Patsy are so sweet. We love getting to spend time with them while they are making our living room look so pretty!
Today, after a long day of working on unpacking the house, we sat outside again to enjoy another beautiful evening. Apparently it was a little too warm for James. Never mind the fact that he's wearing one of Jude's undershirts.
This boy always makes me laugh.
