Happy one month birthday to my little princess. What a joy you are! 1 month has flown by. Your brothers are as in love with you as we are...especially Jude. He studies you and always wants to be near you. He has started trying to pick you up and hold you. So sweet. He is always bringing you your special crocheted blanket...especially when you are crying.
The other day we all went to the pool. I am not really ready for that...I realize that now. Too many little people going in too many different directions. But the kids had fun. And Katy Jane got a good nap in the sun. I mostly stayed under the shade with Katy but would occasionally go take a dip in the pool and tell James I needed to cool off. He came over to where I was sitting and said he needed to "warm off" because he was so cold from being in the water.
Jude loved his floaty.
A couple of years ago Mom and Dad got James his first pair of boots. Jude has since taken them over so James was in desperate need of a new pair. Nana and Papa took him to get his new pair yesterday. He was totally pumped.
Miah, Amber, Madi and Sawyer came into town this weekend. All the guys together again. We love these guys!
We went over to Chris and Sarah's to celebrate Ethan, Chris and Miah's birthdays! All of the kids managed to use their utensils except for James. Raised by wolves, that one.
Do your thing kid. Whatever.
Our weekend is off to a great start. What blessings we have in our life! Our sweet Katy Jane is one month old and we were able to spend time with precious friends and family.
