Jude was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma cancer on March 23, 2011. Here is a description of Neuroblastoma from the American Cancer Society. He had surgery to remove a softball sized tumor from his adrenal gland on March 24, 2011. Two weeks later we received the pathology back and his cancer was staged as 4s. That means it has metastasized to his bone marrow but by less than 10%. His prognosis is good though. Right now the protocol is "observation only". We have his blood and urine tested monthly and he will have scans every few months.
