OKC

We went to visit our friends Miah, Amber, Madi and Sawyer this weekend in Oklahoma City.  We had a great time! Brad and I were both surprised at how well the boys traveled.  Jude made one little peep and of course, our little chatterbox talked non-stop the entire time...going and coming.  But no fussing.  When we got there Brad and Miah put all the kids down and Amber and I went shopping.  When we got home I went to bed and snuggled down between Jude and James.  I was thinking to myself what a sweet blessing it was to have my sweet hubby and two precious boys all sleeping withing arms reach.  Two minutes later I was ready to head for the couch when Jude started talking in his sleep, James started snoring like a freight train and smacking me in the face with his arms and then his legs.  He is as active in his sleep as he is when he is awake.  Needless to say, I didn't get much sleep. The next morning after breakfast, Amber and I headed out...

Birthday Party Fun

Today we went to a birthday party for our friend's daughter, Madi.  James had so much fun!  Here he is jumping with Charly. There were trampolines, foam pits, and bouncy things. He really loved when Brad threw him into the foam pit. Jude didn't have as much fun as James did. Here is the birthday girl, Madi. And her little sister, Sawyer. After working up an appetite jumping and bouncing Jamesie enjoyed a cupcake. And a sugar coma. I guess all that playing dried his lips out.  He asked for some "mex". Jude snacked on his piggies. I took this video because Jude was so cranky while he was in the betsy and I thought it was funny.  Then my little camera hog showed up.

What A Great Weekend!

We had a wonderful weekend! We spent the day Saturday with Mom and Dad and then had a cook-out with some of our best friends that night over at Chris and Sarah's. Madi is like the big sister to all the kids. She's awesome! James had a great time in the pool! All of the kids were so cute and had a great time together. And all the mommies and daddies did too.

Half-Way

We are half-way there!!! 20 more weeks! Yahoo! And only 2 more weeks until we find out the gender...which will be boy. I feel sure. Tonight we went over to our friends, Miah and Amber's. Chris and Sarah were there as well as Miah and Chris' dad from Oregon. I haven't seen him since our wedding so it was WONDERFUL to catch up. They are all like family to us. We love them. Madi is an expert hoola-hooper. James was clearly in awe. Sawyer Kate can hold her bottle with her tootsies. Charly, James and Madi. Jamesie loves these girls! James getting some love off of Madi. Madi showed Brad how to play a computer game. Brad, Chris, Mr. Heath, and Miah. Brad grew up with these guys...they have been there for Brad through thick and thin. Cousins, Collisions, & Cuddles

Thursday, my cousin Chelsea brought her fiance Eric to town so we could meet him. He is great and they are a perfect match. It makes me feel old that my baby cousin is getting married. I am old. After Chelsea and Eric left, James, Will, Grant and Brock were playing outside and James had an unfortunate run-in with the bottom of the see-saw swing 2 of the boys were playing on. It was very scary for all of us. It hit him right in the neck and knocked him over. Later he ate some blueberries. Creepy. Even James looked creeped out. Today we had lunch with some of our best friends-Miah, Amber, Madison & Sawyer...and Chris, Sarah & Charly. Miah and Chris are twins and have been Brad's best friends since 7th grade. James LOVES them. After lunch James had to get some immunizations. It was NOT fun. The nurse accidentally stuck him before she was ready to give the shot so she had to poke him twice for the first shot. On the second one she hit the muscle. By the third one ...
