Happy Easter

Although our Easter plans changed at the last minute, we had a wonderful day.  My parents came to church with us.  After, we had a delicious lunch and Easter egg hunt at their house.

The kids got their Easter basket goodies before church.

Our church service was beautiful.  So grateful for our church!

The Easter egg hunt at Nana and Papa's!
This was Katy Jane's first egg hunt.  She wasn't walking last year.

He needed a bigger basket
After the egg hunt I wanted to get a picture of all the kids.  It didn't work out too well.  Katy Jane hates being in the grass and James was a little worn out.  He's been sick for about a month and isn't 100% yet.
Friday night Mom and Dad kept the kids for us and my amazing mother made this adorable bunny cake with the kids.  SO cute!  She always did fun stuff like this with me when I was little.  Such an amazing Mom and Nana.

Tonight the kiddos watched a movie with Brad.
This little sweetie is smitten with her Daddy.
And the perfect way to end Easter.
Matthew 28:1-7 After the Sabbath, as the first light of the new week dawned, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to keep vigil at the tomb. Suddenly the earth reeled and rocked under their feet as God’s angel came down from heaven, came right up to where they were standing. He rolled back the stone and then sat on it. Shafts of lightning blazed from him. His garments shimmered snow-white. The guards at the tomb were scared to death. They were so frightened, they couldn’t move. The angel spoke to the women: “There is nothing to fear here. I know you’re looking for Jesus, the One they nailed to the cross. He is not here. He was raised, just as he said. Come and look at the place where he was placed.“Now, get on your way quickly and tell his disciples, ‘He is risen from the dead. He is going on ahead of you to Galilee. You will see him there.’ That’s the message.”
