A Much Better Day

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23

So often this is the verse that comes to my mind during the day.  So thankful for His faithfulness.  Today was a day of renewed joy and energy for school for all of us.  And sometimes it's amazing how just how much one understanding, kind, encouraging comment can change your mood.

This little beauty quietly got up with me early this morning.
Brad's on a crazy schedule right now.  He was able to be home for part of our school day today.  I always value his input and opinion on how school is going because he often sees things I miss, or has an idea of how I could change things that helps us or leads to a breakthrough.  But this morning Katy Jane seemed to feel the pressure of having the principal observing the kindergarten class (of one).  At least she had her tiara on.  We think kindergarten is so cute!  Or maybe we think our kindergartener is so cute.  I'm pretty sure she impressed her dad with her math skills though.
We saw our Dee Dee today.  She just had her hair done and looked especially lovely!
Jude found a fuzzy little caterpillar on her front porch as we were leaving.  Science, check!
